Pyukumuku, a Sea Cucumber Pokémon, made its debut in Generation VII of the Pokémon series. This Water-type Pokémon is one of the many species catalogued in the Alola Pokédex.

The tradition known as Pyukumuku chucking started from the custom of throwing Pyukumuku back into the sea after they wash onshore.
